AUFLEX EMI-P

This woven hose comprises 8 tin-plated copper strands and 2 polyester strands and is used not only for suppressing electrical interference but also for protecting cables.

"Push back" effect allows the insertion of longer cable lengths into the hose. After insertion, the hose reverts to its normal length to fit snugly around the cable. If the diameter of the cable is narrow, the hose can be stretched and secured at each end with cable ties.

The hose must be earthed at both ends to guarantee effective suppression of interference.

  • Shielding: [300Mhz, 1Gh] in accordance with IEC 61000-4-21: 60 to 70 dB
  • Composition: web angle 45°±3, 8 copper strands dia. 0.10mm ±0.01mm, 2 polyester strands dia. 0.254mm ±0.01mm
  • Tin-plated copper strands, quality A or B in accordance with NFC31-111, saturated polyester strands, heat-treated
  • Continuous operating temperature: -40°C to +150°C, momentarily +175°C as per spec. 000413-01, temperature class T4
  • Max. ambient humidity: 60%
  • Max. bending radius: 2x inner diameter
  • Extremely resistant to abrasion, vibration and impacts
  • Effective resistance to chemicals used in the automobile industry
  • Extremely flexible
  • Max. opening on hose surface: 0.5 mm
  • Visual coverage: approx. 95%
  • The hose is supplied in a polyolefin or PVC sleeve support that is easy to remove
